MTC Curb Drop Off - 5-23-12

First Stop:  Cedar City to say goodbye to Grandma Goodwin & Jack - Shaydon and Grandma have always had this thing they do when they see each other. They shake their fingers at one another. Ever since Shady was 2 years old, he started doing this back to me when he got in trouble. It was too funny not to laugh at him when he copied me back when I told him no, no, no! Grandma also thought it was funny and continued to shake her finger at him also for the past 17 years.

Jon waited until we got to Grandma's house to give Shaydon a father's blessing so Cassidee, Rich and Grandma & Jack could be there too. It was a very spiritual & highly emotional prayer and one that will be remembered always. Many tender thoughts, inspirations and blessings were given to Shaydon at this time. We're so grateful that Jon honors his priesthood and was able to give this one last service to Shaydon before he left for his mission.

Rich followed us from Cedar to Provo in their car so Cassidee could ride with the family for old times sake and also be able to visit with Shaydon the whole way to Provo. A lot of fun conversations and a very loud ride but very fun! Shaydon is the entertainer of the family so there wasn't very  many quiet moments!
Standing at the corner of the MTC. Now the MTC sign is gone so we have to take pictures on the corner before we drive and drop him off! You can barely see the MTC street sign between the traffic lights!
